STATEMENT

' 'Ecosystems' is a personal project I've been working on for a very long time. It is a deeper research into my connection with nature, which has been a reoccuring topic in many of my works . This project was meant to find out why that is the case and grant closure to this subject.

It is composed of impressionistic and almost abstract photographs , all in square format.

This project is about identity , blooming flowers and unconditional acceptance.

Being in the woods takes me back to when I was a child , who didn't really feel at home in their body. But it still feel likes me.

​

My connection to nature let me evolve from bud to flower , from a confused kid to the person that I am today.

​

Without judgement , I could be queer , accepted as part of this ecosystem.

​

It was my way of coming out without the fear of rejection .

Through it, I could bloom too one day'
